Dad turned up a guard for the starter switch - we might change this, but in principle this is fine for the moment.
I took the current plan for the switch layout and drilled up the test sheet. Looks promising, but I'll sleep on it.
Then we returned to the engine / firewall forward. We needed to validate the new push-pull cable penetrations and some of the wiring lengths.
With the engine back on, the P2 throttle cable should be fine with another 67" and routing looks simple enough.
The mixture cable eye-ball is not quite as perfect, but will work. Not sure if this will be the P1 or the P2 control.
So this is the current firewall for a dual battery, FADEC system with dual throttle and pitch controls - we hope....
The main cabin FADEC harness needed to be modified to allow connection of the power and ground wires to the breakers and firewall ground respectively. This is a slow careful process of stripping back the sheath and screen braid from each of the 10 power lines.

So far for the project not a single pre-made harness has been completely right - I really think 'next time' I would consider making them all from scratch.
